Four

[Miles Davis]

A great straight ahead standard, “Four” is mostly credited to Miles but saxophonist Eddie “Cleanhead” Vinson has also claimed ownership (he’s also claimed he composed “Tune Up” which we also typically associate with Miles). “Four” is a commonly played tune and lends itself well to a Latin montuno or straight-ahead swing.
